                Mimi Stevens Torp
Born in beautiful Santa Monica and raised in Santa Monica and Brentwood, Mimi Stevens Torp is that rare breed of second generation, native Southern Californian. Having attended local schools, Mimi has experienced the Westside's incredible growth first hand. This has afforded her invaluable insights and an unparalleled comprehensive overview of Westside properties.

An art major in college, upon graduation, Mimi worked in accounting at the J. Paul Getty Museum and later was business manager for an interior design magazine in Los Angeles. Mimi began her real estate career with the Jon Douglas Company in 1987. Her special expertise is in the sale and marketing of single-family homes and condos from West Hollywood to Malibu.

          In consideration of her consistently excellent sales production, Mimi has won numerous real estate awards and accolades. 

          Having sold homes for over 20 years, Mimi is renowned for her personalized service, compassionate professionalism and unrivaled attention to detail.  Not surprisingly, Mimi's past clients have been so impressed and pleased with her poised proficiency that the majority of her business is a direct result of referrals and industry word-of-mouth. 

          Mimi has been active with charities including Friends of Animals, Pet Orphans Fund, The American Cancer Society, the Center For Healthy Aging and Les Amies.  
 
          In addition to sponsoring her daughter’s ASA Softball Team, Mimi also co-created “Environ Medals”, a hugely successful and highly acclaimed program that rewards kids for performing Eco-Friendly Tasks.  Mimi and her husband/partner, Jon, were recently honored by The LOS ANGELES BUSINESS JOURNAL with their prestigious “Green Agent Award”.

     She currently resides in Santa Monica with husband, Jon, their daughter, Emily, Beagle pup, Rocky, and overly excitable, "All American" dog, Natty.

                       Jon Torp
Following successful careers in Public Relations and the Entertainment Industry, Jon Torp’s diverse background in sales support, marketing and the Internet/communications media provides his clients with the real estate advantage they so richly deserve.

 Prior to practicing real estate, Jon served as senior account executive with The Klinger Group, a Los Angeles based marketing and public relations agency. During his seven-year tenure, Jon honed those special skills that greatly benefit his real estate clients: strategizing marketing plans, inter-industry networking and most of all, client service.

          With a Master's degree from USC Cinema, Jon's diverse background includes working in the Hollywood community as a writer/producer on a wide variety of shows including  "Magnum PI", "Coach", "Newhart" and “Head of the Class”.  In addition, Jon has written a number of Television pilots and feature film scripts. This hands-on experience and attention to detail has given him an insightful empathy for the special needs, incredible pressures and extreme time restraints confronting Steven-Torp's extensive entertainment industry clientele -- and as a result has produced a remarkably loyal and appreciative client base.

          Jon fully embraces the Internet and its potential.   An award-winning Web Consultant and Designer, Jon has the working expertise and resources to fully tap the greatest real estate marketing resource currently available.   This affords Stevens-Torp clients the benefit of having direct, uncomplicated access and exposure to an ever-expanding marketplace and pool of buyers.
